Inspired by the cabinets of curiosities kept by collectors of centuries past, this series captures treasured objects as if laid out for study. Shells, bees, Roman cameos, mythological profiles of Ganymede and Patroclus, and the zodiac gold coins of the Mughal emperor Jahangir are each presented with the care of a museum catalogue. Shown singly or as sets of two and three, the pieces can be grouped to create a collector’s wall in a study, library, corridor or guest suite. The collection is designed to complement Jonathan Charles furniture, sharing its love of 17th- to 19th-century European design, and it suits luxury hotels and refined private homes.
